We are well-appointed with orthopaedic equipment and have numerous highly skilled and experienced vets who perform almost all types of orthopaedic surgery. An initial consultation is required so our vets can examine your pet and determine if surgery is the best course of action.
Some of the more common surgeries we perform include knee surgery on loose kneecaps (patella luxation) and stabilisation of the knee due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
We regularly perform complex surgeries resulting from trauma and motor vehicle accidents. These include bone plating or pinning and wiring on fractures of limbs, pelvises, jaws, feet and toes. The main exception to this is spinal surgery.
