Lort Smith Animal Hospital is delighted to announce 7 News personality, Tyra Stowers, as our latest Ambassador.

‘’I have always had a pet of some kind, I’m the biggest animal lover,’’ says Tyra. Growing up we had cats, dogs, fish and even a tortoise.

‘’My family currently has three boxers, Blitzen, Jager and Panza, and my cat Tanzanite. One of my favourite things in the world is to take the dogs to the beach and watch them run around.

Tyra says joining Lort Smith as an Ambassador was a perfect fit for her.

‘’I’m extremely passionate about the care and protection of animals. We are so lucky to have these little beings that come into our lives and bring so much happiness and joy.

Tyra says her family have a long-held love of boxer breeds.

‘’I’ve grown up with boxers and so did my dad. I love how they have their own personalities like little kids and they’re extremely loving. I also connected with my partner through our love of boxers,’’ she says.

Lort Smith CEO, Frances Mirabelli, said “Tyra is a passionate animal person whose values align with that of our organisation”.

‘’I had the pleasure of showing Tyra around the hospital and her enthusiasm and admiration for what our team does, was clear,’’ said Ms Mirabelli.
