1. If your pet suffers from pancreatitis or becomes unwell contact your veterinarian.
  2. Bring any product, packaging or prescription to aid your veterinarian in determining the dose your pet was exposed to and any other potentially toxic ingredients in the product.
  3. In most cases, animals that continue to eat and drink without any signs of nausea or vomiting will require no treatment.

TOXICITY

MILD

CLINICAL SIGNS

Clinical signs occur from 30 minutes to 2 hours of ingestion.

  • Lethargy
  • Inappetence
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea

EFFECTS OF TOXICITY

Fish oil can trigger gastrointestinal upsets or pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).

TREATMENT

Veterinary care consists of intravenous fluids to correct dehydration and anti-emetics.
