Our amazing volunteers are an integral part of our organisation. They are highly dedicated and passionate individuals and we simply could not do the work we do without them.

Current vacancies

We are currently in the middle of recruitment intakes for Concierge, Pet Therapy and laundry volunteers. As such we are not taking any new applications at this time.

Volunteering at Lort Smith is very popular and we recruit based on the needs of the organisation. If you are interested in a specific role we are not currently recruiting for, you will need to wait until places become available.

Please note that all prospective volunteers are required to be a minimum of 18 years old, attend an information session, have an interview and undergo a police check.
