As his name suggests, Metro Flinders was found at Flinders Street train station. He was alone, scared and in a very bad way. He was brought to Lort Smith and diagnosed with femoral neck deformities which caused him difficulty standing and walking. Two surgeries later and Metro is doing much better. He is spoilt by his foster carer Narelle who realised she couldn’t part with Metro and decided to officially adopt him. His rollercoaster journey saw Metro, now two years old, become the recipient of the 2016 Inspirational Animal of the Year Award!
